Day 65 Washington DC

We could only drive by the Washington Monument and the Capital building today but we do hope to get closer tomorrow. The bloosems of the trees are so beautiful they are everywhere Washington DC is a beautiful city but very busy.

Day 65 Washington DC

Today we went to Washington DC we are only a few miles from there at the Walmart we are at. We went into a couple of the Smithsonians this one is the National Museum of American History had lot of different travel pieces on display very interesting it was free to go visit, it has so much stuff to see it is almost overwelming but so great to get to see. We then went to one where there were animals and mamals from all over the world, these two were close together and when we left them it was becoming very busy in Washington DC it was impossible to find a parking spot near anything else so we left with hopes of coming earlier in morning to get a parking spot and hopefully see a few more of the Smithsonian.

This museum owned by a good friend of Elvis's (last name of Moon) had some very personnel things of Elvis's he was able to put into this museum. Elvis did like to work out he did karate and tennis, and various other sports. There was a lot of write ups on Elvis his life, his marriage, his daughter Lisa Marie.
